Lit by Drew is a home fragrance brand with strong commitments to quality, sustainability and wellbeing. Based in the charming county of Cambridgeshire, Lit by Drew create high-quality natural wax candles, eco-friendly boxed wax melts and plant-based reed diffusers.

Andrew came to me with a clear vision and branding already in place. My role wasn’t to reinvent the wheel completley, but to elevate the original diffuser packaging design to reflect the hand-poured, conscious feel of the brand and get the packaging ready for wholesale.
We introduced essential details like barcodes, CLP warnings, business address and legal copy. I refined the scent name typography to bring in a more luxurious, premium edge and hand-drew the reed diffuser illustration to capture the brand’s rustic, small-batch personality. I also made subtle layout tweaks to improve spacing and visual hierarchy, giving it more presence on shelf while staying true to the simplicity of the original design.
The result is proof that with thoughtful tweaks (and the right designer in your corner), you don’t need to start from scratch - you just need to build on what’s already working.
