Slog was named after that bit of the creative journey where it’s slow, messy and honestly feels like.. a slog!

Women with long ginger hair standing in front of a graffiti-covered metal shutter in Manchester, wearing a leopard print jacket and a graphic T-shirt.

Meet

Courtney

Hiya! I’m Courtney (she/her) - the designer, packaging obsessed girly, cat mum of 2 and professional overthinker behind Slog Creative.

I believe that great products deserve more than great packaging. That’s why I create the visual world around beauty and lifestyle brands, from packaging and retail displays to PR mailers, launch campaigns and everything in between!

With 5 years of real world commercial packaging experience across lifestyle, beauty, toys and more, I know what it takes to get your product from idea to shelf - and I’ll hype you up every step of the way.

Big dreams? Weird ideas? Having a slight panic about barcodes?

You’re in the right place!

What Slog stands for

1.

Done is Better Than Perfect:
I’m a big believer in starting messy and refining as you go. Growth is allowed to look chaotic even if it’s hard sometimes. Branding and especially business is all about evolving, refining and getting stronger over time!

2.

Bold Expression:
Slog backs product based brands that don’t want to blend in. Loud colours, offbeat ideas, bold creative choices - I’m here for expression that turns heads and dares to be different. Be the brand your dream customers can’t ignore.

3.

Grit Over Glamour:
I believe in the messy middle, the late nights and oh so slow builds. It’s not all about instant success (even if you have no patience like me lol). It’s about showing up however you can, doing the work and carving your own path.

4.

Inclusive by Design:
I believe design should be for everyone - not just the loudest voices or the biggest budgets. Slog champions queer, working-class and underrepresented businesses cos that’s where the best ideas live!
